JViews Diagrammer is a Java library that provides comprehensive tools and components for creating graphical editing, visualization, supervision and monitoring tools. It was originally purchased for the ESP GUI project, but can be used for other products as well. As of December 2009, we have one development license and we also purchased two deployment licenses for the ESP team. The drawback to this type of licensing is that in order for somebody to develop with it, then need to go to the IBM web site, link the license with the actual host machine they will be developing on and then the will have sole use of that development license. This was done for cost reasons as the developer licenses are expensive ($7500). In order to deploy the Java application with the JViews product embedded, you will need to purchase a deployment license as well.
